With the participation of the local community and the support of businesses from across the city, the initiative raised funds to help move forward with a new stage of the “Universos Mágicos” project.
At Faro Verde Foundation, we organised a charity padel tournament with a clear purpose: to raise funds to continue improving the hospital experience for children and their families at Tandil Children’s Hospital.
The initiative brought together 80 players and received the support of 25 local businesses, reflecting the community’s commitment to a project that has been steadily developing over time.
The funds raised will help move forward with the third stage of “Universos Mágicos”, a programme focused on transforming and improving hospital spaces for children and their families. This stage includes the refurbishment of four rooms, as well as improvements to common areas, in coordination with the Public Healthcare System.
Previous stages of “Universos Mágicos” have already transformed six hospital rooms. Each new step is part of a broader process that recognises that infrastructure also plays an important role in caring for and supporting children and their families throughout their hospital stay.
In this sense, the tournament was much more than a sporting event. It was an opportunity to bring people together, rally support, and turn that shared commitment into a tangible improvement for the local healthcare system.
